I never thought I’d know terribly much about the intricacies of masks. Oh well.

I hear the cities are running out of dogs for foster and adoption during the shelter in place order. That feels like good news.

I don’t know why exactly it became common for healthcare workers to post self portraits of themselves after wearing PPE all day. They’re interesting, but does make me wonder if they weren’t wearing PPE all day prior to this.

Plagues and pandemics make for excellent reading. Accounts of yellow fever are by far the more gruesome. I’m very aware that the 1918 influenza pandemic is more apt, but somehow it’s just not. The world is different.

I don’t think I really mind the gutter. It doesn’t complicate drawing very much, but that’s a benefit of not being terribly critical as far as how anything comes out.

The population of the state of New York is not distributed evenly. Less than half of it is in New York City. I’m part of the rest of it. Here’s what the Covid-19 pandemic has been like.
